Food is just not a way fill your tummies, it's a wholesome experience on its own! I feel blessed to share this beautiful piece of experience of art with you all! This recipe is close to my heart as my mother made me this comfort food while the little me returned back from school. I would love to share the same.

Is a quick summer dish, you can make in a jiffy.
Is easy to make with your favourite fruit and nuts.
Is an amazing way to eat seasonal fruits.

A simple fruit custard like this uses ready made store bought custard powder.

My mom always made custard using Kwality Custard Powder and I do think it works best.

Maybe it has something to do with the taste I grew up eating. Either way, you can use a vanilla flavored custard powder that you like.

This fruit custard recipe can’t get any easier. You only need to cook the milk with sugar add custard powder and then chill it.

Once chilled, add chopped fruits. Usually you can chill your fruits before adding them to the custard.

It is essential to chill the custard before you add the fruits. Also once you add the fruits, the custard thins out as fruits release water.

So if the custard looks very thick, don’t panic. It will thin out once you add the fruits.

Once the custard and fruits both are chilled, mix them and them chill again for a few of hours before serving.

Custard is more flavorful once you let the fruits sit in the custard for a while.

Personally, you can have apples, pomegranate and mangoes in my fruit custard.

But you can add whatever you like- grapes, bananas , blueberries.

Stay away from the citrus fruits like oranges, pineapple and kiwi.

Even fruits with more moisture content like watermelon won’t work here.

A simple custard is just with healthy fruits.

But, you can make it more flavorful by adding nuts like  walnuts, almonds, cashew nuts and dried grapes.

Recipe for custard

1)Add 3 cups of milk to a heavy bottom pan on medium high heat.

2)Once it has heated up a little, take out 3 tablespoons milk from the pan into a bowl.

3)Next, add in 3 tablespoons custard powder to that milk and mix well. There should be no lumps. Set it aside.

4)Now, stir the milk in the pan in between and let it heat and come to a gentle boil. Then lower the heat, add sugar and mix until combined.

4)Start adding the custard mix.

5)Add little at a time and mix after each addition. Whisk continuously. Cook for 2 to 3 minutes until the custard thickens. Remove pan from heat and let it cool down a bit. At this point you can also add rose water and cardamom powder .

6)Then cover and place it  in the refrigerator to chill.

7)At the same time, chop all fruits that you are using for the custard and refrigerate until.

8)Once chilled, transfer custard to serving bowl and mix in the fruits well.

8)Cover and refrigerate the custard for 1 to 2 hours after mixing in the fruits for the flavors to develop. This enhances flavor. Then garnish it with pomegranate arils and serve fruits custard in bowls!

Since last three years we had suffered from COVID-19 pandemic which is prime cause to get weakened with immune system. Thus, Monsoon activity also strike to more casualties to weaken our body immunity.

Though many people were tensed about their health issues. But we have some points which may cure and stabilize your health. Some facts and nutritional herbs which are used for regaining the natural immunity.

Most common questions I usually found among people...

A special home remedies to treat body immune.

As we all know covid - 19 pandemic had played hazardous effect on our healthy immunity. Most of people mentally disturbed with this viral infection though to treat such infection we commence with some wonderful spices or ayurvedic herbs. As India is rich in spices and natural herbs, we mostly cure health from home remedies.

The spices must have in your diet

It contains curcumin bio active compound of various studies, it is now well established that turmeric improve immunity and protect the body (also balance vata and pitta dosha)

In monsoon the vata dosha is vitiated and it disturbed the digestive system. During monsoon due to improper hygiene high chances of food poisoning may see. Thus, Ginger is absolute healthy spice which keeps digestion proper and also it naturally heals the sore throat and flu.

It helps in enhancing our digestion and keeps proper flatulence, it also used in babies bloated tummies. It was used in Spanish flu which is good antibiotics against H1N1.

It is also known as digestion stimulator. The essential oils, bioactive compounds, and minerals present in ajwain help alleviate nausea and stomach-ache.

Healthy tips for monsoon

Masala chai:

We all talk about the most popular masala chai, it is an instant energy booster, gut-friendly, heart-healthy and more.  this chai has the nutritional benefits of the 'masala' (spices). We bring you a 'masala chai' recipe that boost your immunity:

This immunity boosting 'masala chai' can be prepared with very common kitchen ingredients.

Recipe: -

Step 1-Grind ginger, Laung(clove), Dalchini(Cinnamon), Kali Mirch, Turmeric, Tulsi and Mint, together and store in an airtight jar. You can store it for using it in future. For some sweet taste use honey.

Step 2- Use Tulsi & Mint leaves while making tea.

Step 3-Strain it, add honey (as per taste) and enjoy sip by sip.

What are you waiting for?  Take a sip and enjoy your healthy day

3)What precautions we can take over the viral infection.?

  • In monsoon people usually have milk tea, crunchy Pakodas & Samosa. But these are made by reused oil which leads to severe diseases. Also, immunity tends to slow down your metabolism, hence affecting your nutrition and immunity. So, avoid eating such unhealthy food at street site. Instead, you can cook it at your home with fresh oil.
  • Avoid cold Beverages containing carbonate which results in lowering enzyme activity and weak digestive system. So, whenever you feel urge for cold drink, just reach out for a glass of lemon water.
  • Pani puri, chaat or any other street food might comfort your taste buds, but these dishes are certainly not the right choice during monsoons considering hygiene and pandemic surrounding us.
I hope you have got enough health tips for monsoon. Do follow us for your good health. And for more doubt just let us know in comment section. we will definitely get back to you.
